Can you got to collections if you are making a monthly payment and there was no agreement on an amount in WA?

Yes. It is the creditors decision to outsource the debt collection. You don't owe the third party anything (such as increased costs but the original creditor can get interest on the debt so if they demand that, be prepared to pay it.

If you owe the money, it is just going to cost you more to not pay it promptly. If you cannot pay it, consider talking to bankruptcy counsel.
