Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

Watercraft

My husband found a boy floating in the lake. The boywas in his kyak and had been hit by a boat and left. My husband went over and pulled him out and called 911.

Last night an officer called and wants my husband to bring his boat down to the station to look at some things, and he also wants my husband to meet him at the lake today????

I am not sure what is going on now, on Tuesday they were here and looked at the boat and told us that my husband was not a suspect. What should we do??? Is all of this standard procedure??

Re: Watercraft

You will need to turn the boat over. I answered you directly and gave you advice as to what to do in that regard. Your husband absolutely should not meet with the officer and should not explain or say anything to him. Retain an attorney immediately as your husband is suspected of manslaughter if not murder. You already know how to contact me directly. Feel free to do so if you want further assistance.
