Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Child Support/Daycare

We had an agreed temporary order entered for parenting plan and child support. He has an attorney but I am Pro Se. On the Respondent's financial declaration, he falsified his information and I really received a low child support as agreed by both parties. And per the order, we were to split daycare cost of $450.00. Is there any way of modifying the child support and daycare to ask for more since no final decree has been entered?

If you agreed to a lower number, it is going to be tough to tell a court that they made an incorrect decision based upon your agreement. it isn't OK to invite error.

That said, if you cannot afford an attorney but your husband can, go back to court and ask the court to make him pay for you to have an attorney, too. It is not a fair fight (I'm sure you noticed).

The sooner you do this, the more likely your husband and his attorney will stop running roughshod over you.

It is foolish to try to do this yourself. You are still married to this man. Half of everything he owns is yours, including one half of each of his paychecks. Make him pay for you to have an attorney as well.

Give him one chance to do it voluntarily, and then bring a motion to ask the court to enter an order requiring him to pay for your attorney fees, too.

I bet the fighting will end a LOT sooner on much more favorable terms.
