Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Washington

interest collectable on judgements

I would like to know if any what the interest rate allowable by law is for a judgment on a small claims matter. The code law i have read states 12% but that is back from 1983 is that still the applicable rate?

Re: interest collectable on judgements

Yes, 12% is still the judgement interest rate. Remember you can also get pre-judgment interest for amounts that are specific or calculable (that is, where there is no discretion necessary to determine the amount).
