Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Washington

Lawsuit
I am filing a claim against someone in a car accident for injury's that happened. I got a lawyer to help in the case but have since decided to just settle with the insurance company and just have them pay my medical bills. Do I still need to pay the lawyer if he was working on a contingency basis?
