Employee pays for gas in company vehicle on 300 mile job

My boss told me I had to pay for the gas in the company truck. I drive 300 miles to the job site. I am driving to go to work, hauling a company trailer with my tools and supplies. How can this be legal???

I doubt that it is. Check with Labor and Industries.
