Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

trust fund

I am 18 and my great grandmothger whose about to be 90 set up a trust fund for me but the only bad thing about it is that I can't get the money out by myself until i'm 21 because its in my step-grandpa Don's name. So in order for me to get the money out I have to go through Don. Don and my grandmother Pati are really bad with money so i'm starting to wonder if there is even any money left in my trust fund. Is there anything I can do about this?
