Will revisions

Is it necessary to amend a will if my daughter has married since being named in the original will and also if other parties named in the will have new addresses.

Re: Will revisions

You would want to update a will (either by codicil or a completely new document)if the circumstances have changed such that your distributions would change. Changes of addresses are mere conveniences (and could be handled by having the legatees' names on a piece of paper with their updated addresses-just a convenience) and would not affect distribution. If the marriage of your daughter would affect what you would want distributed to her, you should update the will.
