Is A will written in CA binding in the State of WA

The CA will can pass muster in WA if it contains certain language AND is witnessed by at least two people with a self attesting affidavit of acknowledgement.

The will does not "speak" until the maker is dead, and generally probate happens in the county where the decedent was domiciled at the time of their death. It would be unusual for a person who lived in CA to have an estate probated in WA state.
