Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin

third degree sexual assault

Was charged with this ten years ago, completed my classes five years ago. Am now married with a son. We are also thinking of moving to SC... Will I be allowed to take my son to and from school? Can I go to his activities? May be help with getting this exspunged or lowered?

Third Degree Sexual Assault--Effect Upon Parental Rights

The answers to your questions will depend upon the decisions of various local courts and authorities (such as family court, child protective services and school officials). Hence, I am unable to advise you, especially since I do not know whether or not your son was the victim of the assault for which you were convicted. I would, however, be happy to represent you and investigate whether or not any sort of post conviction challenge of your case might be possible. You would need to schedule an appointment and can reach me via the email address which I have on file on this website.
