Legal Question in DUI Law in Wisconsin

I have a few questions, first if a bench warrent was issued in the state of WI for an OWI misdemeanor, will the state of Wisconsin extradite me back from Mississippi? And will i be able to obtain a mississippi drivers licence if my licence is suspended in WI?

In most states, a drunk driving conviction from anywhere will prevent one from ever getting a drivers license for the rest of ones life again unless the conviction is properly followed up with court required detox and successful treatment. Although many states will not extradite for misdemeanors, they do issue arrest warrants which are still recognized by sister states. If a person arrested on such a warrant fights extradition, they can wait in jail on the warrant for over 90 days while the authorities make up their minds whether or not to extradite. Even a later release from jail after the state declines to extradite does not resolve the issue; the warrant will remain on law enforcement computers. This means that the same process of long jail time awaiting extradition could be repeated again and again. However, I may be able to formally represent you if you contact my Racine office and make arrangements to retain me. I also represent clients throughout WI.
