Legal Question in Employment Law in Wisconsin

I work for the State of Wisconsin DOT as Bridge and Highway maintenance engineer. Last spring I was given a dissipline of one week off with out pay that is in the greivence process with the employees association. First negative mark on my 20 year career. Last week I missed an early Monday morning meeeting and was server notice today that managment has started an investigation charging me with insabodination and negelect of job duties, Last week I heard rumors from coworkers from the section supervisor that managment has decided to fire me. I'm planning on using my assocation greivience process for unjustified action but due to politics none of the grievances that the association has is being settled.

My ?: Can I have a worgful firing law suit at the same time as an association grience?
