Legal Question in Employment Law in Zimbabwe

I entered into a contract of employment with following clauses among other clauses:

1"....this contract shall be deeemed terminating on the 30th day of November 2015".

2."You shall be subject to summary dismissal.. being in breach of the code of conduct.."

3. "...contract may be terminated by the bank subject to your performance. th the event that the bank requires you not to work the reminder of this contract the bank shall pay to you the remainder of the contract".

The employer wants to dismiss the employee on allegation of poor performance. In the event of the employee being found guilty of poor performance is the banbk obliged to pay him the remainder of the contract?

your contract is partly defective.summary dismissal is not allowed in Zimbabwe.they must pursue termination in terms of a code of conduct or the national code si-15-2006.

i suggest that you see a registered legal practitioner for detailed advise.

Parties to a contract are bound to the terms and conditions they agreed to unless if they are illegal.

Blessed Regards
