Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Goodday sir, i state, my female widow neighbour, who lives alone, last month, had given her Ist floor house on rent to a family of four, on the assurance that they would pay the rent and deposit of the house as soon as they possess the house of the widow, but the tenant after acquiring possession of the house is fooling around and absconding, the rest of his family deny his whereabouts, they have not paid the agreed rent and deposit till date, my neighbour stands cheated and there was no documentation also, please advise, legally how can she be helped, thankyou, God bless you!

Dear Sir / Madam,
Your neighbour should contact the next of kin specified in the Agreement for Leave and License (ALL) and the broker through whom she gave the house on lease to repossess the house with the intervention of the Police and the Secretary of the Society.
