Merely because you have done the cremation does not entitle you for right in the property. Your rights have to be checked with regard to law of succession which would depend upon the relationship with the deceased owner of the property. From your question you have not described the relationship clearly. Was it the self acquired property of your grand parents. Your rights will be through your mother, if the property belonged to your mother.s parent. You may seek partition of the share of mother's share in the property.

if you have cremated your grand parents no right accrues upon you. There are many factors to be gone into wether there was a will made in respect of the assets?? in case of a person dying without making the will than your mother will be entitled for the share. So whatever you get will be from your mothers share. for further clarification you may contact at 9312411481
