Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

my landlord is adamant and does not want to redevelop the since 1940 building situated in shivaji park,mumbai.its a ground plus 2 floor building with only 2 flats being occupied.repair was done recently but it has not improved nor brought about any change in the property.We are living everysecond in danger.can anyone advise me how do I convince my adamant landlord to redevelop this building.i hve to back my case with some law related provisons that necessitates him to redevelop the building.isint it unlawfull to subject tenants lives to danger.what do I do ?

Dear Sir / Madam,

Tenancy agreements with the Landlord - Tenant arrangement have ceased to exist way back in 1985. It is purely left to the landlord whether and when he wishes to redevelop his property. Just in case you feel insecure and are living in danger, you should look for an alternative accommodation elsewhere.
