Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

If i live in Alabama and my spouse lives in Guatemala how can I get a legal divorce? Also what if she does not want to sign any papers....what will my options be?

You can sue her for divorce in Alabama, if she has any contact with the state at all. You will also have to serve her where she lives. She MUST have notice of the action in accordance with the Alabama Rules of Civil Proceedure. This is very tricky and must be done properly for your divorce to be any good. You should see an attorney about this.
