Legal Question in Personal Injury in Alabama

On May 2, 2002, driving on the interstate (with clear roads), I hit my brakes to avoid hitting a car in front of me. I lost control of my car and hit the guardrail head-on. Since I had anti-lock brakes, should this have happened? Do I have a case? I was not hurt, but my car was totalled.

The only type of case you may have had was a products liability case, however its been almost 8 years and the statute of limitations on bringing any type of claim against a manufacturer has passed. Plus, you were not injured, so it would be very difficult to bring such a claim in the first place.
