Legal Question in Personal Injury in Alabama

2nd & 3rd degree burns due to hot coffee at convienient store

My spouse sustained the burns to his wrists and stomach when hot coffee caused the cup to collapse and spilled on him. He has already incurred $2,000-$3,000 in medical bills, and will have permanent scarring. We have photographs of his injuries, contacted an attorney, and after 1mth decided that although he has a good case, it would be too costly to pursue. Is there help available? We feel there's 3 parties liable as well...coffee maker co., cup maker, and convenient store. Please respond promptly. Thanks

I would have to know the answers to several questions: Do you still have the cup? What kind of cup was it? Where was the cup when it collapsed? Were there any witnesses? Where did he get the cup? Were there different cups to choose from? Do they still carry the same cups? Does the store know what happened? What kind of store was it? Where is the store located? If I had this information, I might be better able to answer some of your questions. you may contact me at (205) 254-3927 if you wish to discuss any questions you may have.
