Legal Question in Personal Injury in Alabama

How do you determine how much money you are entitled to?

I was involved in an automobile accident 09/17/01. It was unquestionably the other driver's fault (she ran red light). I was injured, though not neccessarly permantly. (Severe contusion to R knee) I had to undergo physical therapy for 7wks. My total out-of-pocket expenses were $565. Lost wages $900. other loss $350. Medical $1839(health insurance eligible charges). Is 3 times right? or 2 times the total?

Re: How do you determine how much money you are entitled to?

I do not use a multiple to determine damages. I look at my client's injuries, medical bills, subrogation issues, and liability, among other issues, and I discuss the case with the adjuster. If I have to make a recommendation to the adjuster first, it depends on all of the facts of the case before I determine a figure. If you would like to discuss these, or any other issue, further, please do not hesitate to give me a call. (205) 254-3927.
