Legal Question in Family Law in Alaska

My child's father is in and out of prison and is now serving another 5 years in another state I have always been the parent he has met her once about a uear ago while he was in prison and now wants to be involved do I have to let him be involved?

Unless and until a court having jurisdiction over matters involving your child's custody orders you to let him see her, no. You do not.
