i have a credit card debt that is 6 yrs old. an attorney called saying i was going to be sued for the amount. then called back and said they were garnishing my wages. this credit card isnt even on my credit report. Do they have the right to collect. and has statue of limitations expired.

The answer to whether the statute of limitations has expired depends upon the date of delinquency.......this is usually the month AFTER you made your last payment. If it has been more than six years since your last payment, or your last use of the card if that was after your last payment, then the card issuer cannot sue you because the statute has run.
If the statute has not run, and the other side gets a judgment against you, they can garnish your wages.
