Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

I have a son that is 19, he was in AZ and got in trouble for having POT on him .... he has since moved to NC and 9 months after the fact he got a letter to appear in court. He was working and unable to fly back to AZ ... he called in and they told him to call back he did. 2 weeks later they send a letter stating he has a brench warrent for AZ. Now he is trying to get a job and they say he has a felony. If he comes back to AZ how can he get this dropped off ?? Can he get it done in NC for a AZ charge. He is trying to change his life around and with this on there he is going to have a hard time.

thank you

You have multiple issues in your question. It would be best if you contacted me at my office. He would normally need to appear to quash a felony warrant. Assuming he pleads guilty or is allowed into a diversion program, he should be permitted to travel to NC and complete the program requirements there. The issues are complex. Please give a call.
