Legal Question in DUI Law in Arizona

Dui

I was pulled over on 7/14/08 and given a beathalyzer test, then arrested. My sister picked me up at the jail and I was released. Amonth later my licensce was suspended but I was permitted to drive to work. Yesterday, 12/26/08 I received a Summons to appear in court on 1/27/09. Do I need a lawyer or should I plead no contest?

Re: Dui

MVD suspensions are only one part of a DUI charge. Even though you have resolved your license suspension issues with them, you still have criminal DUI charges pending in court. It is very important to have an attorney when facing any criminal charge - especially a DUI were jail is mandatory if you are found guilty.

Call me at 6O2-493-36OO if you want an experienced former prosecutor to defend you.
