I have been fired because one of my teenage sons viewed porn on my work laptop on the weekend. Is there any way I can fight for my job?

Re: Employment Law
Thank you for the inquiry. Unless you have with your employer a written contract stating they cannot terminate you except for cause or your are in a union with a collective bargaining agreement that requires cause for a termination, your employer's actions are probably legal. That is if the real reason they terminate you is because your son viewed pornography on your laptop.
If you believe that is not the real reason and that the real reason is related to something like your gender, race, national origin, religion, age, or disability, you might have some sort of claim. To get a more definitive explanation of your rights, you should see an experienced employment law attorney.
