Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona

I have a rental agreement with 2 other people who I rented a house back in April 2010 with. Myself and roommate B continued to pay rent until around October. Roommate C decided to move her stuff out and told us she wasn't going to continue living there for reasons of; " you had too many people over all the time" and " you guys are alcoholics". Both I and roommate B are of age and do once in a while have friends over. Since October, we have been paying rent and so has roommate C after we told her we would legally seek the money due if she did not pay. Now it is 1 month before our lease is up, and once again roommate C refuses to pay her last months rent. The contract states ( after reading it over and over ) that she is responsible for 1/3 of the rent, all three of us bound, signed this agreement. However, our landlord refuses to call roommate C and ask for the money, he just " wants my money". What should I do? And if I do have to pay the rest of the amount to avoid eviction on my record, how do I recover my money? Small claims? Law Suit? Please help!

You are liable to pay the landlord and must go after the delinquent roommate in Small Claims or Municipal or Justice Court, depending upon the amount of your claim.
