Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona

renter

I was ''supposed'' to be renting an apartment as it tured out I was stuck sleeping in her bed. When I decided this was not what I wanted I ended up sleeping just about where ever I could. Now throught no falt of my own renovations are taking place and everything is a mess. I've been spending time at my girlfriends and my stuff is disapearing and being gone through. We have no written agreement. I was told I could not have certain friends over and things were under stricked control by so called landlord(considered herself my girlfriend). Now things have become so uncomfortable that I'm moving and she said I hve to pay rent anyway or I cant have my things. What is the chepest way out. I only get SSI!

Re: renter

A written rental agreement is not required to be a month-to-month tenant. The hostile environment at the apartment may support a constructive eviction. You need to keep track of all expenses that you have paid/contributed to the apartment.
