Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Protection of Assets

Being retired and having my home and other assets paid for, I am driving a truck part-time for a very small business person. My question is, if I am involved in an accident, I know that I can be sued along with the owner, what kind of protection do you advise. Is an ''Umbrella Policy'' the answer?

I would certainly appreciate your input in this matter.

Re: Protection of Assets

you should be endorsed on the owner's policy as a "permissive driver" or "additional driver" or in some capacity which puts your name on the coverage.

An umbrella policy never hurts - cheap protection for the price.
