Legal Question in Insurance Law in Arkansas

Insurance

We have been with our insurance company for over 20 years. In September of last year our son rear-ended a guy at a stop light who in turn hit 2 other cars. They refused to pay and the pizza delivery place refused and fired him. now after all this time our insurance company is suing us and all involved in the accident and his former boss and the bank who holds the lien on his totaled out truck. Is this normal and can we retaliate by counter suing or what? We thought it was over when they refused to pay and we did not go after them. This came out of the blue. They have not contacted any one else. We called everyone.

Re: Insurance

What is the insurance company suing you for? Who did they pay for this accident? They must have spent some money for someone or something to be suing for it.

You may be able to countersue them. It depends on a few more details that I would need to know.

You may want to consult an attorney to help if you plan on trying to sue the insurance company, or even if you just want to defend what they are suing you for.

I would be glad to discuss this with you further. I do not charge for initial consultations. My email is provided.
