how much to file a petiton to close an estate that was all in an irrevocable trust and does everything have to be distributed when you file the petition

Generally, a trust that was set up prior to the passing is not part of the estate. A trust would usually be distributed separately from the estate. The Trustee's duties should be described in the trust document itself. You may want to have an attorney guide you through this, and you definitely need to have an attorney look at this trust, if you believe it needs to be filed with the estate. A trust can be set up in so many different ways that I can't completely answer your question without talking to you, or seeing the trust itself.
