Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arkansas

My grandfather had property in Arkansas and when he died my father was still living. My father never received anything from his estate, When I found out that my grandfather died I had not heard from my uncle. I found him once on the internet but have again lost him. I think he is hiding from me as I am the only child of my father. Am I entitled to a share of my grandfather's estate?
