Legal Question in Disability Law in California

Me an My boyfriend were at a Friends apartment complex. My ex husbands 4 sister's and mother attacked me all at once while i was in my car. My 2 year old daughter was in the vehicle. During the fight one of the sisters took my child out of the vehicle and tried running away with her. My boyfriend tried multiple times to remove these women. In the process they got scratched and shoved. Am i able to charge them for attempted kidnapping? And will my boyfriend be charged for trying to help get my attackers off of me?

You can make a police report, and state that you wish to press charges. The police and the district attorney will determine what crimes, if any have been committed, and what to prosecute these individuals for.

While it's always possible that your boyfriend could be charged with assault or battery as a result of the altercation, it sounds like his actions were in self defense, and it's doubtful that he would be charged with any crime.
