Legal Question in Business Law in California

warehousing storage

In our company warehouse we store products for other companies that don't have warehouse space.

If the customer fails to pay for the monthly storage charges, what is the recourse for my company to take posession of the product and to sell it.

Re: warehousing storage

You probably have a "warehouseman's lien" on the property. There are procedures by which you can foreclose on the property and sell it to cover the debt.
