Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

I live in a apartment. There was a complaint of some sort. My wife is disabled because she has hart problems, and panic attaks. They are trying many different kinds of meds on her and some of them make her cry. She was not crying at the time the police knoked and I opened the door. They glanced in and said I see whats going on and told me to lay down that I was under arrest. I couldn't believe what was happening so I asked him why an sugested he look around and talk to my wife. The two of them threw me down breaking my nose and doing serious damage to my ribs and wrist jabbing the sharp end of their handcuffs into my arm. I was charged with felony domestic and obstruction of justice. 3 days later at my arraingment they had dropped the felony and I pled guilty to the other charge. I got a 300 dollor fine and 3 years of unsupervised probation. The probation seems harsh to me being as no initial crime was commited and I was wondering if there is anything I can do after the fact like this?
