Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Pro Bono a NO NO??

Its been 4 weeks Ive been searching for a pro bono or (accept lien) attorney. LOL geez havent found one, not a single one. Im not shocked no one felt they should step up to the plate, and would fight for a good citizen and decent human like myself, because that person believes and insists on standing up and fighting for the underdog-little guy, also known as the one that will lose a bizarre case because someone with plenty of money and time is paying to get what he wants , right or wrong. thank you to all the attorneys that passed me up the instant the words ''pro bono'' were found.

Re: Pro Bono a NO NO??

Please accept my apologies on behalf of my collegue Mr. Stone. It is an attorney's duty and requirement to dedicate a number of hours in pro bono work. As you also were looking for attorneys to take the case on a contingency basis, it may be the facts of the matter that is preventing you from finding representation, i.e., it may be a wak case. Because of the words 'pro bono'? No. It probably has more to do with the ranting and whining attitude, and with the failure to describe any case or facts. Many legitimate cases are taken on contingency, even on pro bono, when the case and person are deserving of it.
