Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

As a renter with a 1 year lease that is not yet expired and the property has been foreclosed and put up for auction by the county/city of san diego ca. What are my rights as a renter?

You have the right to not be held responsible for the term of your lease in the event they sell the property and you have to leave. They have to provide for your relocation expenses in most jurisdictions. You are probably the only question I've answered today from someone that actually does have claims.

Depending on what your written lease says, you are most likely entitled to some compensation based on what they are doing. Look at my website's page on Foreclosure Law if you have time.
