Legal Question in Constitutional Law in California

Illegal search? (I am bewildered)

This is a wierd one. After being contacted via phone at 9:00 am in the morning by the California SBOE (I live in Nevada) Taxpayers advocate offices (at my request) a 45 min conversation ensured. Almost eight hours later as I was in my home alone; seval local police officers surrounded my home. I went to the front door while 2 officers entered the back door. I was horrified. The officers were hollaring so neighbors could hear. There was a Fire Truck and or Paramedic in front of my home with the several uniformed officers. The report to their dispatch was ''Completely Unfounded''. Apparently the State employee(s) contacted my local Police department at 4:45 PM for what the Police Dept identified as a welfare check of sorts. One of the officers seemed to be evaluating my home. No one called me on the phone, which I would have expected if they truly were concerned about my welfare. My life has changed since this happend. Have I any recourse?

[This is re an 8 yr old tax issue ressurected after a BOE decision last May to extend statutes @ their discression.]
