dau's boyfriend and dau will not leave parents residence and have issued threats

dau of friend and her boyfriend were allowed to reside in parents home. They have been asked to leave residence repeatedly and now threats of violence have been issued. They have no rental contract. How best to proceed.

Your friend will need to file an unlawful detainer action to evict them. If the daughter and her friend (I assume "dau" indicates daughter) are threating violence against your friend, your friend should immediately call the police and report the incident, and seek a restraining order against them.

Tell your friend that they should immediately contact an attorney. Chances are the situation is not going to get any better, and they risk physical injury if they do nothing.
