Bill collectors calling my work

bill collectors keep calling my job...the block their numbers to private ..or it shows unknown...my boss has answer and told them Im not allowed personal calls..the collector..told my boss its not personal ..its business and I will continue calling...what recourse do I have..Im going to loose my job..they are also lieing about who they are saying the work for a radio station to get call pushed threw to me

The bill collector has no business calling you at work. The are violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by calling you and work and discussing the debts with your boss. If you are having debt problems, you should call a local bankruptcy attorney or someone who specializes in FDCPA claims against harassing debt collectors.
