collections

my 14 year old daughter was caught

stealing a DVD from Target. They got

their merchandise returned. She

attended classes and her record was

cleared. Target is now charging me

_$400. Do I have to pay this?

California law allows shopkeepers to charge those individuals caught shoplifting the costs they incur detaining them and processing the report. Most businesses charge the same fee for every case.
