I can't afford to make my minimum payment on my CC, would I lose my house if i dont want to file bankruptcy?

No. You will get lots of dunning letters and phone calls and eventually a lawsuit, but they can't force the sale of your home, especially if you record a Declaration of Homestead. If the lender on the mortgage is the same as the credit card lender, or if the credit card draws from a home equity line of credit, this would change my answer, read the contracts.
