Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Is it legal for a credit card company to charge a late fee to your account? If so, when that late fee is charged to your account making it overdrawn, is it legal for them to charge your account an overdrawn fee plus the late fee?

Of course, it's legal for a credit card company to charge a late fee. As for the overdrawn fee triggered by your late fee, it may not be fair but they disclose it in your credit card agreement. Maybe a class-action lawsuit attorney out there could take the case to challenge that type of fee on behalf of credit-card holders in your situation. I believe such a suit may have been filed before.
