Contesting the validity never makes sense unless you are fighting to set aside a default. The only way to fight improper service is to file a motion with the court objecting to the service. If you argue that service was invalid, they will just reserve you and probably do this when you arrive at the hearing on your original motion. You are better off focusing your efforts on settlement than costly litigation.
