Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

After being named in a law suit.That I don't know I was named as a defendant. All I have is a paper stating: Judgment Debtor, My Name, Is Sworn, Examined and Discharged. Dated 11/13/2002 . My question is and I still part of this law suit and can they place a lean on my home?

It means that the plaintiff secured a judgment against you, you testified in a judgment debtor's examination, and they were satisfied with your answers. A judgment may be enforced for up to 10 years, and may be renewed for another ten year period. So you're not quite off the hook based upon the facts that you have provided.
