I get the feeling you have been here asking the question before. Do not speak to the other attorney, or agree to any type of payment plan, or file any papers with the court until after you have sat down with a lawyer in person. This involves calling a lawyer and making an appointment.

You will most likely be asked to sign a stipulation of judgment. This means a judgment is automatically entered. If you default on the payment plan, they will immediately move to enforce the full amount of the judgment.

As Mr. Stone correctly advises, speak with an attorney before signing or agreeing to anything.
