Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I'm a 72 woman, was at my community's gym, saw a phone on the treadmill and put it in my pocket. I was planning on returning to the desk when I left. The owner asked for the phone, after saying I didn't have it, I gave it to her. She called community security and the local Police Dept. I have a notice to appear. The courthouse is 50 miles away, I have a 20 year old car. I need a close courthouse in Orange County, CA. What do I do? Nancy Polsky
