Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My daughter lived in Wisconsin and had many charges and went to jail on several. She was on probation when she received permission to come to Ca. she had to pay for her probation officer to transfer her probation to a local officer. She applied to get a job and there is another charge that was not know by her. she has no money to go back to Wisconsin to clear it up is there some way to clear it up in California?

California courts have no authority over criminal charges that were filed in other states, and such charges can't be transferred from one state to another. Your daughter may be eligible for a court-appointed attorney in Wisconsin; she should contact the public defender's office in the county where the charges are pending to find out whether she is. They should also be able to tell her if she needs to travel to Wisconsin in order to deal with the charges.

Good luck.
