Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

DOJ Record / FBI Record

In 2005 I had 5 misdemeanors that were dismissed under PC 1203.4. Does this also cause my FBI NCIC record to be dismissed/expunged as well?

Nothing at all is "expunged" with a 1203.4 order. It merely authorizes you to deny the arrest or conviction. It remains on your DOJ and FBI and local rap sheets. Anyone getting approval to check your past will see it.

for further information on expungements, you can read here:

The DOJ database should catch up and show 'conviction/dismissal by expungement' when the court updates to them.
