Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

I am wanting to find out if I can file a suit against my college for discrimination about my weight. I am a large person and because of that i have not been allowed to perform function necessary for the completion of my class work, and am being held back from going on my externship to complete my schooling.

Weight is not a protected category under the civil rights laws, it is not an immutable characteristic of your genetic makeup, thus no discrimination claim can be founded on weight.
