changing trial dates
the prosecutor is trying to change their trial date because the cop is gonna be on vacation, also after 6mo. there is suddenly a new police report submitted.
Can they do this?

You can object to continuing the trial date to accommodate a police office is often done by the court. The police report that just appeared will be subject to cross examination and may result in the police losing some credibility.
